Items that are collected for recycling in South Waikato are:

Due to changing world markets, Plastics 3 - 7 can no longer be recycled, so South Waikato District Council is asking the community to help by only putting Plastics 1 and 2 into their recycling crates/recycling drop off facilities. Ideally, stop buying Plastics 3 - 7, reuse them or put these plastics in general waste.
